Ordering a bespoke bridal gown is a very personal and intimate process. We will be more than happy to help you create the wedding gown of your dreams! We offer the experience of 20 years and the skills to turn your vision into reality! Specializing in period bridal gowns and corsetry.
The Process
At your first consultation we will discuss your ideas and preferences, look at pictures and fabrics and discuss styles and colours. You are welcome to give us as much input as you like - or simply leave the design process to us! For the initial apointment we charge a fee of £75, which will be deducted from your total should you decide to proceed.
Design & Payment
After our first appointment we will supply you with sketches and fabric swatches and a first costing. As soon as the details and pricing of the dress has been agreed a written contract will be sent to you. A deposit will be required to book your slot, as well as an interim payment at the first fitting. The remaining amount will be paid at or around collection.
Toile fitting
Creating a mockup of your gown will be the next important step in the process. You will try on a first version of your dress in calico and all possible alterations or changes will be discussed. Fittings take place in our West London studio.
The dress
Once we have established all the details of your bespoke dress it will be created in your chosen materials, patterns created to your exact measurements, with attention to detail and perfect fit!
Please allow about 6 - 9 months for this process. Time frame can vary according to complexity of the dress and current workload. Prices start from £2000.
